Britains Extremely Rare Set 60 Indian Army Cavalry Display 1st Version 1896
Britains from the extremely rare 1st version of set 60 - Indian army cavalry display of the 1st Bombay Lancers, produced about 1896. Some minor paint chips and scuffs.

There were 15 pieces, the set being provided with an officer and a trumpeter. The officer, a figure seen only in 2 or 3 row boxes of Indian cavalry, was the same Indian cavalry figure with an arm with outstretched sword. He was mounted on a horse of a different colour to the troopers - usually a yellowish bay.... Early sets of these figures had white collars and cuffs and light green coats, which over the years became a darker green.Please see photos for additional details.
