Britains Limited Edition Rare, Boxed Mint Condition Rorkes Drift Set No. 5198 (only 2000 produced in 1998).

On the 22-23rd January 1879, a British garrison of just over a hundred men defended a mission station from thousands of Zulu warriors. The successful defence against all the odds has led many to regard this battle as one of the greatest in British history.

This is a limited edition set and number 1,823 of only 2,000 t hat were ever created of a diorama of the Rorkes Drift. The successful defence was under the leadership of Lieutenant Bromhhead, whom is accurately depicted. As is Colour Sergeant Bourne and King Cetshwayo Ka Mpande.

The set and box are in mint condition and an iconic set to add to anyones collection. It was produced by Britains - a well known and reputable leader in the toy soldier industry.
