This is Britain's set #98, The King's Royal Rifle Corps. This is a full set with seven troopers and an officer. This is what is known as the closed elbow version that was produced between 1928 and 1941. This set was produced before 1939 because these figures have painted mustaches. All eight figures are in excellent condition, especially for being over 87 years old!
There is a box, but it is not the original box. This is a box that someone custom made. It looks good and the figures fit it well. These come from a smoke-free home environment. The fellow I bought them from said he had a few more that he would like me to sell for him.A few thousand toy soldiers later I got hooked. I do this for fun and to keep myself busy.
Because of this, I don't have a lot of room to accept low offers. So, don't be too upset if I do not accept your offer or send you a counter-offer with a brief explanation as to why.
