#18 Ultimate Collection early 1950s Metal Timpo United States American WW2 GIs in Combat x 30 pieces. Old Stock unused mint condition. All Bayonets, Rifle Barrels and small details (marvel at the Motorcycle). Early 1950s (to 1956) Hollowcast Metal Toy Soldiers.
Superb figures designed and sculpted by Roy Selwyn Smith - Timpo's master designer. This is one of every thing in the Combat range. There were some additional figures in the overall GI range that modelled Matching and Parade Ground Uniforms plus the rare Doctor and US Army Nurse who were re-purposed (re-painted) Railway Station and Police Figures. See the Norman Joplin Book pages 257 and 254. The artwork you see is from my Photoshop archive. A paper A3 print will be supplied in a tube.
