Britains EXTREMELY RARE Set 435 US Monoplane In Blue. Produced 1947 Only
An extremely rare example of set 435, the US monoplane. In fair to good condition only with some rust and paint wear, and some aviation figures from various sets included. From Opie: Usually the USA monoplane was colored dark olive, but about 1947 Britains had a period when they issued many vehicles, guns and aircraft in assorted bright colors such as this blue (accompanying picture shows an excellent Condition example of this plane from the Ruby collection). Opie, James: The Great Book Of Britains, page 314. Ive never seen one of these offered for sale, but its an interesting survival.
