W Britain (Britains) No. 333 American Aviators Group of 8 U. S. Airmen Rare

  

For your consideration, a group of toy soldiers from my Father-In-Law's large and varied collection, amassed and curated with love for over forty years. He will be sharing the collection exclusively on E-bay over the next few months, so stay tuned for more items like these. 333, a very rare group of American Airmen from the pre-WW2 era, in their flight outfits.

Still, just to have 8 of these fellows is a big deal! This suggests to me that my father-in-law collected them over time. One airman is quite worn and has a pushed-in chest, but from there they go up in condition, and the last two are probably in the Very Good to Excellent range. They are displayed on a holder, with a corrugated cardboard backing, in a new Britains box with no markings.

As always, they are 54mm size hollow-cast lead, original Britains castings. If these soldiers were all in the same condition and in the original box, their price would be very high indeed.

I've debated about how to sell them as they are quite rare and there is very little pricing information available for soldiers that came out in the 20s and 30s as these did. 333 group of figures between now and Christmas, so you will want to snap these fellows up!
