A rare vintage Britains 54mm scale hollow-cast lead Praire Schooner, Set No. The Set is complete and undamaged and comprises.

The Covered Wagon (Praire Schooner). Wire Traces (to connect the Horses). Two Wire Hoops (replacements) supporting the Cover. Bucket attached to rear axle.

All the pieces are complete and undamaged apart from a little play-wear/paint loss. The wheels turn freely, the draw-gear pivots freely and the tail-gate opens and closes freely. The Pioneer and Wife have moveable right arms, which both move freely. The Cotton Tilt has some age-related staining. The tail-gate is marked inside, and the draw-bar underneath, Rd No 475656.

The Pioneer is marked ENGLAND down the left leg and (partly legible) on the right thigh. The standard scale used by Britains and other toy figure manufacturers is 1:32, in which the average height of a man is 54mm (2.12 inches), generally known as 54mm Scale.
