Old BRITAINS England 1950s Lead, Changing of the Guard, 83 Piece Boxed Set #1555

  

Of England, British Coldstream and Scots Guards conducting the daily Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace in London, England. 83 pieces, complete set (see contents below). 54mm (2 1/4) size hollow-cast lead, made c.

Metal drums and tin flags. They appear to be in Excellent overall condition, light paint wear.

The uniforms are not all matching but are very close. The bassoon player's arms have been repaired and the mouthpiece of one clarinet is missing. The set comes in the original BRITAINS. The Box is in POOR condition with heavy water damage, discoloration and warping.

3 of the 4 sides of the lid are missing. The box bottom is warped and has 2 ends split and taped. The box has no tie-cards and is missing the end label.

Both inner trays are present. The box measures about 22" X 14 1/2" X 3 1/4. Do not confuse photo flash for paint chips. Ask if you are not sure, but do not wait until the last day.

NOTE : The figures were not in the box at the time of the water damage. CONTENTS of the original BOX. Coldstream Guards Band, 21 Pieces.
