Britains State Open Road Landau No. Vintage Britains 1962 Historical Series State Open Road Landau No.

The return slip is perforated with the number 59. I have never seen a 9402 become available before with an original return label, which makes it extremely rare as most were either lost or thrown away (please see picture of return slip). This Stata Landau comes complete with Queen Elizabeth II giving a royal wave and The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, along with a team of eight Windsor Greys and postillions in state livery. These sets were renumbered from 2094 in 1962.

This particular set was made in that year -1962. All the lead figures, original box and return slip date to 1962 (58 years old) and are in excellent condition all round. It appears that these lead figures have never been used and most likely have never even been out of the box judging from the original mount bindings.

There is no evidence of any paint peeling or chipping. It is in the best condition that I have ever seen one of these 2094 sets in before. Very well cared for and stored in every respect, including the box.
