LARGE LOT of RARE W Britains MOUNTAIN ARTILLERY INDIAN ARMY 28 1892 1893

  

This is an unusual and RARE grouping of W Britain soldiers from my father-in-law's collection. 3 boxes of set No. 28, Mountain Artillery with Mule Team and Quick Firing Gun.

It's made up of 4 Mules, 6 soldiers and an officer on horseback. They have various pieces of a cannon. Not all pieces are with each set. 4 boxes of set No. 1892, Indian Infantry at Trail. Most or all of the soldiers are marked "Depose" which I assume means they were made at the W Britain office in Paris. Or at least from those molds.

2 boxes of set No. 1893, Royal Indian Army Service Corps. Officer, 4 Infantry, Mule and Handler. I'll take better photos tomorrow morning, but wanted to get these out tonight so collectors could see them.

None of the items are in their original boxes--they've been placed in newer red W. My father-in-law had these items valued considerably higher than the price I'm placing on them, but the market for toy soldiers has softened since he did his valuations, so this is pricing could be anywhere from ridiculously low to laughably high, but hopefully I've got them at a fair price. I hope collectors will weigh in on this interesting set of soldiers. As always, please feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer!
