This is an incredible and extremely rare set, part of my father-in-law's collection amassed over 30 years. 1603 , Pre-War Armies of the World , Irish Free State infantry, marching at slope. Seven figures plus officer in a wonderful Britains box in great shape for its age! According to my father-in-law's documentation, this set is very valuable indeed. The only thing that gives me pause is the color mismatch between the officer and the soldiers.

It makes me wonder if the soldiers have been repainted or the officer is from a different set. But I did find a similar-looking set online, so it's possible that this is just how these soldiers were. If any collectors know, I'd be grateful for the information.
