Vintage knights, cowboys, indians, soldiers, farm mostly Britains Ltd 60s & 70s

  
There must be around 100 different pieces here, all played with by my brother and me in the 1960s and 1970s. There is a combination of knights, cowboys and indians, and US cavalry, all of which are made by Britains Ltd, but there are also a few Airfix soldiers, household cavalry and also other random characters which were in the same box: a milkmaid, a blacksmith, some animals and also a little wooden village. These latter characters are certainly 1960s. The majority of the figures are plastic on plastic bases and have interchangeable heads, torsos and legs, so I can't guarantee that everything as pictured, is how it would originally have come out of the box.

These have been played with over severeal decades and so heads and bodies will have been swapped - and for that matter, could be swapped again. There are also part figures here consisting mostly of torsos and riderless horses. There are a few metal cowboy figures on metal bases and also included, as seen, are teepees, camp fires etc.

Everything in this photo is included in this sale and everything is now back in the box waiting to be sent off to the winner.
