Rare Britains Hollow Cast Set c. 1938 Of Queen Elizabeth I Coronation.

O ffered is a rare 1930's Britains set of hollow cast figures in the original box. This set is #1470 version 2, and is called "State Coach".

Inside the coach you can see firures of both Queen Elizabeth I and King George VI being moved by eight royal horses, 4 of which are driven by her Majesty's royal escorts. Included in the set are 9.

Pieces and a full set of metal goldleaf harnesses to connect the horses. The original box includes the original royal blue display which the figures can be reattached to. This set is of particular interest since it is designated "U" by Opie in his guide book as unique- meaning it has no pieces that are in any other sets.
