A very rare pre-war Charbens 54mm scale lead hollow-cast Organ Grinder Set, Catalogue No. The Set, which measures 130mm (5.1 inches) in overall length, comprises 4 pieces. The Organ is marked CHARBENS MADE IN ENGLAND behind the right hand wheel and RD at the front between the two shafts and at the back. The Donkey is marked underneath RD but t here are no visible maker's marks on the Organ Grinder or Monkey.

All pieces are complete and undamaged, but there is a small hole in the left side of the Organ. The Organ wheels turn freely. The Monkey has a small casting hole near the base of the tail and may have been re-touched. All pieces have some paint loss. The standard scale used by Britains and other toy figure manufacturers is 1:32, in which the average height of a man is 54mm (2.12 inches), generally known as 54mm Scale.
