A slight mixed bag with this lot. The three camels and riders are housed in a Traditions of London box, with a sticker suggesting they are the Gordon Relief Expedition Guards Camel Corps, Set 95.
On closer inspection only one camel and rider seem to match that particular set. (The rider holding the rifle). One of the other camels (the lightest in colour) has "Soldiers of the World" on the base, which after a bit of research ties back to a company called Regal Toy Soldiers. The third camel is a bit of a mystery as it doesn't have any markings. On a positive note, although the three figures appear to be from different sets, they do work very well together in terms of uniform and scale. Although the unknown camel looks to be larger than the other two, this is mainly due to the angle of the neck. When you place the three together, the backside of each camel are roughly the same height and the soldiers are also in approximate scale to each other, with the Traditions of London being slightly smaller 5.5cm compared to 6cm. Figures look to be in lovely condition, and are 54mm sized. One of the riders is loose and not stuck to the camel as per the other two, so not sure if that is by design. Either way these look wonderful and would look great on display. I've priced to reflect the anomalies. Please check out my other items for sale.
