Sought after by collectors across the world due to their rarity; this is a stunning example of a vintage - used - William Britain's Limited Edition -'The Charge of the Light Brigade' Boxed Set 5197 From The Crimean War Series. This vintage Limited Edition Boxed Set 5197 is numbered 1315 of a strictly limited global run of 2,500 sets.

This hand-painted 11 piece set was made in England in 1997 and features the 8th Hussars; 11th Hussars; 4th Light Dragoons; 13th Light Dragoons; 17th Lancers; Russian Artillery; and Infantry with Russian Field Gun and Bucket. This boxed set 5197 comes complete with its original Certificate of Authenticity which is also in Excellent condition. Unfortunately, one of the Hussars has a broken sword - please see photos - however I still have the broken sword, so if you are a confident repairer, it should be a reasonably straightforward repair. This set has been priced to reflect the fact that one of the pieces is damaged.

Otherwise, all the other pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, dinks, paint flaking or any other visible damage. Comes complete with its original burgundy red box and carboard outer sleeve, both are in excellent condition. This beautifully detailed, crafted and hand painted set would make a great gift or addition to any Britain's display or collection. The colours are bright and clear. There are no chips, cracks, paint flaking or any other visible damage.

Comes complete with its original Certificate of Authenticity (COA) burgundy red box and cardboard outer sleeve which are also in excellent condition.
