Britains EXTREMELY RARE Boxed Display Set 10 17th Lancers. Pre War c1896
Generally very good condition retied in a good box. An extremely rare set, this being the 1893 version, issued about 1896 with movable arms. The set includes an Officer with Extended saber Arm on Galloping Germanic Horse, Trumpeter on Grey Germanic Galloping Horse & 7 x Troopers Charging with Lances on Black/Chestnut Galloping Germanic Horses. The figures have prominent casting holes to the rear underside of the horses and some paint wear. The original and exceptionally rare box is generally in Good condition with what appears to be the original compartmentalized box base. An extremely rare set that was only produced in the 1890s and then replaced and never reissued. See photos for additional details. Please see my other auctions.
