A beautiful example of a very rare vintage - issued in 2002 (21 years old) - William Britain's Collector's Club seven-piece boxed set No. 17463 - Union "Command Decision" at Vicksburg, Grant and Sherman - from "The American Civil War'The Art of War' Series". This Vicksburg "Command Decision" set depicts the scene of Ulysses S. Grant with William Sherman issuing the fateful decision to march south. This seven-piece 17463 hand-painted lead set is new - it has never been displayed and consists of: General Ulysses S. William Sherman; a Union Officer horse runner; horse; Civil War tent; a table covered with a map, and a central Tent Pole. All seven pieces are in excellent - mint - condition with no paint flaking or any other visible damage. Comes complete with its outer and inner boxes, plus inserts - all in excellent condition, except for the Civil War Tent box, which I would rate as Very Good condition.

Issued: 2002 - vintage (21 years old). Condition: New - This never displayed set No. 17643 - Union "Command Decision" at Vicksburg, Grant and Sherman set is in excellent - mint - condition. The colours of all the seven pieces are bright and clear. There are no chips, cracks, paint flaking or any other visible damage. Comes complete with its original outer and inner boxes and inserts and literature including the unused price tag, are all in excellent condition, except the Civil War Tent box which I would rate as Very Good.
