Britains Ltd Lead Soldiers Set of 15 Scottish Highland Guards Early Issue
Original Britains Ltd set of 15 lead toy soldiers, depicting Scottish Highland Guards in traditional uniform with kilts, sporrans, and bearskin hats. Early issue with brown painted bases (earlier than the standard green bases seen in later series). 54mm tall, hand-painted, marked "Britains Ltd England" on the base.
The set comes in a box with protective wrapping. Paintwork shows minor age-related wear, but overall figures are in good vintage condition. A fine early example for collectors of Britains Ltd, military miniatures, and Scottish regiments.
