Britains Swoppets British Infantry Stretcher Party Set 4336 100% Boxed
Up for sale is an exceptional, highly collectible example of the vintage Britains Swoppet / Herald Series Set No. 4336 "Infantry in Action" Stretcher Party. Originally released in 1962, this 1:32 scale plastic set is a legendary rarity, particularly when found complete and housed in its original window box. Figures & Accessories (PRISTINE / 100% COMPLETE): All figures are present, completely unbroken, and original to the set. Includes both infantry stretcher bearers with their respective helmets, green webbing, and F.
The wounded casualty is fully intact and safely secured to the stretcher with his original, fragile pink/flesh-toned clip-on plastic blanket strap. Also includes the separate stretcher legs, the delicate plasma unit, and the brown storage/medical crate securely sitting on the green base. Cellophane Window (EXCEPTIONAL SURVIVOR) A major highlight for serious collectors-the original 1962 cellophane window is 100% COMPLETE and FULLY INTACT. It is entirely free of any cracks, splits, punctures, or detachment from the cardboard frame. It features only a standard, minor horizontal storage crease across the front face, making it a true rarity given how brittle this vintage film typically becomes. Cardboard Box (GOOD PLUS TO EXCELLENT): The first-issue printed window box retains highly vibrant, crisp orange and blue colors. The cardboard structure is rigid. Please note two minor vintage points of wear: there is a slight, clean tear on the inside of the left box flap, and the top header flap has naturally begun to come away/lift along its original factory glue seam due to the age of the adhesive. The left flap is torn still attached to the box not been repaired left as it is. SUMMARY: Finding this specific set with all fragile medical parts intact is rare enough, but finding one with a completely uncracked cellophane window is an absolute premium.
Perfect for a high end, discerning vintage toy soldier collection. I'm a toy soldier collector but only in the Deetail and super Deetail range.
