JOHILLCO STREET GAS LAMP/CLEANER SET. A rare vintage Johillco 54mm scale hollow-cast lead Street Gas Lamp Set with Lamp Cleaner and Ladder, dating from the 1950s. All the pieces are complete and undamaged apart from play-wear/paint loss.

The clear plastic'glass' pieces in the Lamp head are loose, but can be fitted with care. The Lamp stands 143mm (6.6 inches) in overall height. The original Box is complete and undamaged apart from minor scuffs and marks.

It measures 155mm (6.1 inches) x 79mm (3.1 inches) x 39mm (1.5 inches). The Lamp and Lamp Cleaner are both marked underneath JOHILLCO TOY ENGLAND. The illustrated Box label reads MINIATURE MODEL - STREET GAS LAMP - COMPLETE WITH - Lamp Cleaner and Ladder - MADE IN ENGLAND.
