TAYLOR & BARRETT STREET SWEEPER SET. A very rare pre-war T&B 54mm hollow-cast lead Street Sweeper Set, Catalogue No. 2 Dustbins with separate Lids.

All the pieces are complete and undamaged apart from play-wear/paint loss, which can be seen in the photos. The Barrow wheels turn freely.

Although heavily obscured by paint the Cart is marked T & B inside the bottom. Markings on the bottom of the Dustbins are faint but BRITISH T&B MAKE is just about legible on one of them. The Street Sweeper is unmarked. The standard scale used by Britains and other toy figure manufacturers is 1:32, in which the average height of a man is 54mm (2.12 inches), generally known as 54mm Scale.
